Festival summer may slowly be coming to an end, but we are still looking back on the projects that made this season so memorable. This year, Live Light by Ethnicraft once again had the pleasure of helping shape the experience behind the scenes at a multiple Belgian festivals. While the audience sees the stage, the music and the atmosphere, there is another essential part of every successful festival: the backstages. A place where artists, crew and guests can take a break, recharge, meet and prepare for what is next.

Let’s dive in on one project for a local festival in Boom.

Design furniture rental for festivals and events

At Live Light, we believe these spaces deserve just as much attention as the front of house. As part of the Ethnicraft family, we rent out high-quality design furniture that combines comfort, durability and a refined aesthetic.

For this project, the goal was to create several welcoming areas with a premium feel: comfortable indoor lounges, practical seating areas and an inviting outdoor terrace. By choosing furniture rental, the festival could create a complete, high-end setting without the investment and storage requirements that come with purchasing furniture.

The result was a backstage that felt both relaxed and considered, designed to offer a moment of calm in the middle of a busy festival day.

From outdoor terrace to indoor lounge

 
The furniture selection gave each area its own character while maintaining one cohesive, high-end feel throughout the backstage.

On the outdoor terrace, the Jack lounge collection created a relaxed setting for artists, crew and guests to unwind. The new Jack bar table and bar stools added a more informal, social contrast.

The versatile Bok collection completed the outdoor setup, moving effortlessly between dining, meeting and casual seating areas. Inside, the modular N701 sofa brought softness, comfort and a refined finish to the lounge space.

To complete the experience, we also provided an exclusive styling service with plants and decorative elements. These finishing touches made the backstage feel even more welcoming and considered.
